C.  Make sure the open surface of the inner cylinder chrome of the nose landing gear is not more than 10 inches (25.4 cm).
D.  Do not use tow loads that are larger than the approved loads (see Figure 4-16 and Figure 4-17. While you tow the airplane, make sure that the airplane CG does not move out of a safe range (see Figure 4-18).
NOTE: WHEN USING TOW BAR, MAKE SURE PROPER SHEAR PINS ARE INSTALLED.
E.  Attach the towbar to the airplane. If the nose gear angle is larger than 65 degrees, disconnect the torsion links. Use a line (rope) to make sure the top link does not move
down and cause damage to a different structure.
F.  Make sure that you release the airplane brakes.
G.  Tow the airplane when it is necessary. Make sure that you use the precautions and the procedures that are the standard for this airplane. See Figure 4-6 and Figure 4-7 for the clearance limits.
H.  Be careful when you complete the movement. Tow the airplane in a straight direction for a length of 6 feet (1.87 meters) minimum. This procedure permits the removal of the turn forces (torsional) applied to the gear while you towed the airplane.

4-20-2 Load Limits and Tow Angles
1.  When you tow the airplane (push or pull) from the nose gear, the allowable maximum towing load varies with the towing angle. See Figure 4-15 for the allowable load at different angles. There are also angular limits when you pull the airplane (forward or rearward) with tow lines on the main landing gears. The limits are 30 degrees to each side of the centerline. Refer to Figure 4-16 and Figure 4-17 for maximum towing loads for the nose and main gear tow fittings and the maximum winching load which can be applied to the main landing gear oleo surface. Refer to Figure 4-18 for various airplane ground stability conditions.
