APU  Auxiliary Power Unit 
AZFW  Actual Zero Fuel Weight. The Operational Empty Weight plus payload 
BEW  Basic Empty Weight. The standard basic empty weight plus or minus the weight of standard different items 
CG  Center of Gravity 
DLW  Design Landing Weight 
ENP  Estimated Normal Payload. The total weight of passengers, cargo and baggage selection by the operator for statistical and related functions 
GSE  Ground Support Equipment 
Kn  Knot. The speed of 1 nautical mile for each hour 
MAC  Mean Aerodynamic Chord. The chord of the imaginary wing of the constant section which has the same force vectors under all conditions as those of the correct wing (it extends from B Sta 1258 to B Sta 1585.8) 
MEW  Manufacturer’s Empty Weight. The weight of the structure, powerplant, furnish-ings, systems and other items of equipment that are a part of an applicable airplane configuration 
MTGW  Maximum Taxi Gross Weight. The maximum weight authorized for ground maneuver by the applicable government regulations and includes taxi and run-up fuel 
MTOGW  Maximum Takeoff Gross Weight. The maximum weight authorized at takeoff brake release by the applicable government regulations and does not include taxi and run-up fuel 
MZFW  Maximum Zero Fuel Weight. The maximum weight permitted before fuel and other specified agents that can be used must be loaded in specified sections of the airplane with the limit set by strength and airworthiness requirements 
NRW  Net Recoverable Weight. The recoverable empty weight not to include the missing airplane equipment and components, but to include fuel, liquids and cargo

OEW  Operating Empty Weight. The weight of the structure, powerplant, furnishings, systems, fuel and other propulsion agents that cannot be used; and other items of equipment that are a part of an applicable airplane configuration. Also in-cluded are certain standard items, persons, equipment, and supplies necessary for full operation, but without fuel and payload
