(2)
Supplies pneumatic power and electrical power on the ground.
(3)
Supplies backup inflight electrical power, 90 KVA.
(4)
Has an air inlet on the right side of the aft body.
(5)
Has an exhaust outlet contained in the aft part of the tailcone.
10. Fuel System
A. Contained in the wings.
B. Primary Tanks (main)
(1)
One tank in each wing.
(2)
2,050 U.S. gallons (7760 liters) capacity in each wing.
C.
Center Tank
(1)
7,080 U.S. gallons (26800 liters) capacity.
D.
Total fuel capacity is 11,180 U.S. gallons (42320 liters).
E.
To fill the airplane with fuel:
(1)
The fuel station is on the leading edge of the right wing. There is also one overwing fueling port available on each wing.
11. Advanced Technology Airplane Materials.
A. Kevlar
B. Graphite
C. Fiberglass See Figure 1-4, Figure 1-5 and Figure 1-6 for details on the locations of composite material.
12. Airplane Structural Details (see Figure 1-11)
A. Five Fuselage sections (see Figure 1-12 through Figure 1-18).
B. The wing attaches to Section 44 with a wing torque box (see Wing Centerline Diagram, Figure 1-19).
C. The horizontal and vertical stabilizers attach to Section 48 (see Figure 1-22 and Figure 1-20.
D. Door sizes, locations and heights above ground (see Figure 1-23 through Figure 1-24)

13. Airplane Ground Service Points (see Figure 1-25 through Figure 1-28).
A. Type and location similar to other narrow body airplanes.
B. Use standard servicing equipment.
14. Voice and Flight Data Recorders (see Figure 1-35)
A. The voice and flight data recorders are in the same location above the aft passenger compartment. The locations is forward of the aft passenger door. Access is to the recorders is through the ceiling panel.
15. Composite Structure
A. Some of the airplane structure is made of composite materials to improve resistance to damage and corrosion, and to reduce airplane weight.
B. Composite materials are layers or plies of high strength fibers (carbon fiber or fiberglass) in a mixture of plastic resin. Components made of composite materials use laminations or combine layers of the composite materials with a honeycomb core to form a sandwich construction.
16. Horizontal Stabilizers
A. The torque box spars, ribs, and stringers are aluminum. The leading edge panels and lower and upper inspar skin panels are also aluminum. The upper and lower trailing edge panels are either a kevlar/graphite composite or fiberglass The tip is fiberglass or kevlar. The elevator structure is graphite/kevlar composite.
