Tighten the nut to 1800-2400 pound-inches. Loosen then tighten to 60 pound-inches. Move forward to the nearest lock position to install the antirotation bolt. Do not use over 2400 pound-inches (View B-B).

Move the reaction link forward to the correct position.

Apply grease to the pin, the bolt, the end caps, the washer, the nut, and the cotter pin.
(b)
Install these parts to connect the reaction link to the support link.
(c)
Tighten the nut to 100-200 pound-inches (View D-D).

Connect the clamps for the hydraulic line to the reaction link.

Install the thread protector.
(a)
Apply grease to the pin, the antirotation bolt, the nuts, the washers, and the cotter pin.
(b)
Install these parts to connect the upper side strut to the swivel.
(c)
Tighten the nut to 840-1080 pound-inches. Loosen the nut to the nearest lock position to install the antirotation bolt.

Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition
(1)
Lubricate the swivel at the grease fittings.
