Remove the sensor mounting screws (2).

Remove the sensor (1) and pull the sensor wires from the conduit.
NOTE: Make sure you do not pull the end of the line near the splice

Install the Truck Tilt Sensor (Fig. 201).

CAUTION:_______DO NOT DROP OR HIT THE SENSORS. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE INTERNAL COMPONENTS OF THE SENSORS AND CAUSE A FAILURE OF THE AIR/GROUND RELAY SYSTEM.
(1) Twist the sensor wires together.

(2) S 862-014If you install a new sensor, do the step that follows: (a) Put a line on the sensor wires.
(3) S 432-042Put the wires through the conduit to the junction box on the truck of the main landing gear.
(4) S 432-043Pull the sensor wire through the conduit into the junction box.
(5) S 432-044Tighten with your hand, the conduit coupling nut to the sensor (1).
(6) S 862-021If you install a new sensor, cut the sensor wire to the correct length (SWPM Chapter 20). (a) Crimp the pins to the sensor wires.
(7) S 432-045Install the sensor wires into the terminal block in the junction box.
