Install the electrical connectors on the pressure switches, on the filter module.

Install the Filter Element

 (1)  
Apply hydraulic lubricant or hydraulic fluid to the new O-rings, the backup rings, and the threads of the filter element case.

Install the new O-rings and the backup rings on the filter element case.

 (3)  
If it is necessary, install the O-rings and the backup rings in the filter element.

Install the filter element and the filter element case on the filter module.

 (5)  
Tighten the filter element case to 20-25 pound-feet.

Safety the filter element case with a lockwire.

Install the Pressure Switches

Apply hydraulic lubricant or hydraulic fluid to the new O-ring and the threads of the pressure switch.

 (2)  
Install the new O-ring on the pressure switch.

Remove the cap from the opening on the filter module.

Install the pressure switch on the filter module.

Tighten the pressure switch to 12-14 pound-feet.

Safety the pressure switch with a lockwire.

Connect the electrical connector to the pressure switch.


 H. Install the Check Valve or the Differential Pressure Indicator

Apply hydraulic system lubricant or hydraulic fluid to the O-rings, the backup rings, and the threads on the component.

Install the new O-rings on the differential pressure indicator.

Install the new O-rings and the backup rings on the check valve.

Remove the cap from the opening on the filter module.

Install the check valve or the differential pressure indicator on the filter module.

Tighten the check valve to 45-50 pound-feet.

Tighten the differential pressure indicator to 15-20 pound-feet.

 I. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Push the indicator button, on the differential pressure indicator, until it aligns with the adjacent surface.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers on the overhead panel, P11:
