Disconnect the RAT door link from the door or from the RAT strut housing (AMM 29-21-10/401).

Disconnect the electrical connector at the top of the RAT strut housing, on the aft side.

Push on the end of the hydraulic pump to move the RAT in the direction of the retracted position.

Make sure the limit switch closes when the RAT strut housing is 13 | 1/2 degrees from the fully extended position.
NOTE: Do a check for continuity, between the electrical
____ connector pins 5 and 7, to find when the switch closes.
