Extend the RAT (AMM 29-21-00/201).

Remove the screws that attach the limit switch to the switch support bracket.

Remove the limit switch and the switch plate from the switch support bracket.

If the switch has inline electrical connectors,
do these steps:
(a) Cut the heat-shrink tube from the inline electrical connectors.

(b) Disconnect the inline electrical connectors.

(5) If the limit switch does not have inline electrical connectors, do these steps:
(a)
Cut the wire from the switch terminal C, approximately 3.25 inches from the limit switch.
(b)
Cut the wire from the switch terminal NC, approximately 5 inches from the limit switch.
