R (g) To remove the bearing housing assembly, remove the parts that follow: - the five nuts (14) and the five washers (15) - the five bolts (3) and the five washers (2) - the two nuts (12) and the two washers (13) - the two bolts (5) and the two washers (4).
R (h) Carefully remove the bearing housing (1) and remove the lever (11).

R B. Removal of the Flap-Actuator Lever Assembly - Track 2
CAUTION : SUPPORT THE FLAP ALONG THE FULL LENGTH OF THE TRAILING EDGE._______ THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE FLAP.
(1) Use the hoisting sling to hold the weight of the inboard flap.
R (2) At the track 1 position: (Ref. Fig. 401C/TASK 27-54-55-991-001-B)
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (10).
R (b) Remove the nut (9), the washer (8) and the bolt (7).
R R (c) Disconnect the lever (11) from the flap link arm (6).
R (3) At the track 2 position: (Ref. Fig. 402B/TASK 27-54-55-991-004-A)
(a) Remove and discard the cotter pin (29).
R (b) Remove the nut (30), the washer (31) and the bolt (33).
R R (c) Disconnect the lever (28) from the flap link arm (32).
R (d) Lower the inboard flap onto the stops at tracks 1 and 2.
NOTE : The stops only limit the carriage movement, they do not____ prevent flap movement.
R (e) Hold the trailing edge of the inboard flap with an adjustable strut.

R (f) Remove and discard the cotter pin (38).
R (g) Remove the nut (39), the bolt (27) and the retention plate (35).
R (h) Remove the nut (44) and the bolt (25).
R (i) Use the EXTRACTOR-HOUSING (FLAP TRACK RIBS 2, 3 AND 4 INBOARD) (98D27504025000) to remove the bearing housing (26).
R (j) Remove the PIN RIGGING FLAPS (which was installed for the removal of the actuator) (Ref. TASK 27-54-49-000-002) from the lever (28). Move the lever (28) inboard and remove it from the bearing housing (34).
R (k) Turn the lever (28) through 90 deg. and remove it from the brackets (36) on the rear spar.
R (l) Remove and discard the cotter pin (37). Use the SOCKET WRENCH -RETAINER NUT, TRACK 1 (98D27507536000) to remove the ring nut (40).
R (m) Use the EXTRACTOR - HOUSING (98D27504097000) to remove the bearing housing (34).
