CIRRUS Offers SR22 and ACCESS Experience to Highest Bidder
Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County and Red Tail Project to reap the benefits
Palm Springs, CA – (November 9, 2006) Cirrus Design Corporation
announced today that it has joined forces with Boys and Girls Clubs of
Broward County, the Red Tail Project, and The Private Bank of Bank of
America to raise funds at the Fisher Island Yacht Rendezvous’ charity
auction Saturday, November 11.
CIRRUS has donated the use of the world's best selling airplane, the
CIRRUS SR22, for six months. The highest bidder will also experience
the CIRRUS ACCESS program which includes a certified flight instructor
who will function as an on-call personal pilot, trainer (for the winner and/or
his or her immediate family) and airplane manager during the same six
month period. Insurance coverage, hangar and maintenance will also be
included. The winning bidder will only be responsible for fuel costs.
“Both the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County and the Red Tail Project
are extremely worthy causes and we are proud to put our name and
airplane behind them,” said CIRRUS co-founder and Vice-chairman Dale
Klapmeier. “The Tuskegee Airmen very much represent the American
dream. That same dream is what brought the CIRRUS SR22 into being and
what should be available to every child in the United States. We believe
that the Boys and Girls clubs of Broward County are helping to make that
happen and we look forward to working with them on future fundraising
opportunities.”
The CIRRUS Experience will be part of an auction of a handful of exclusive
live auction items that include jet and yacht charters, Cartier jewelry and
other elite opportunities which can only be found at this Fisher Island
Auction.

CIRRUS UPGRADES AVIDYNE® MFD TO ENHANCE SAFETY
Safety – Making Smart Decisions from the Start
Duluth, Minn. (January 22, 2007) In keeping with the company’s emphasis on safety,
Cirrus Design Corporation announced today that their Avidyne Entegra® Multi-
Function Display (MFD) has been upgraded in a novel way. Now, every time a pilot
starts their aircraft, the MFD will display three pages of information inviting a
personal inventory before takeoff regarding limitations, weather, flight planning,
passenger briefing, and readiness to fly.
According to CIRRUS Co-Founder and CEO Alan Klapmeier, “As a CIRRUS owner
and pilot, I appreciate the friendly reminder to make sure that I am personally
prepared to fly myself and my passengers safely to our destination. It was natural to
add ‘Risk Assessment Tool’ as a function of the versatile Avidyne Entegra MFD.”
The first new page features the CIRRUS “Envelope of Safety”. This graphic display
simplifies a myriad of information critical to safe flight decisions. The weather and
experience limitations are the same rigorous standards utilized by CIRRUS for
dispatching any flights whether sales, corporate, or personal through the CIRRUS
Flying Club. This resource contains information of value to all pilots regardless of
airplane make or model. It is available as a free download from the CIRRUS Pilot’s
