1. COMPLIANCE
Mandatory: Cirrus Design considers this Service Bulletin to be MANDATORY. Accomplish this Service
Bulletin at the next scheduled maintenance or within the next 100 Flight Hours, whichever occurs first.
Compliance time begins upon issue date of this Service Bulletin.
This Service Bulletin has been revised for an improved gascolator installation and to expand effectivity.
Operators who have successfully complied with the original release of this Service Bulletin, dated 04 Jun
2008, must accomplish this revision.
2. EFFECTIVITY
Cirrus Design SR22 serial numbers 2710 thru 3420 with normally aspirated engine.
Note: Serials with Tornado Alley Turbonormalizing System in accordance with Supplemental Type
Certificate Numbers SA10588SC and SE10589SC are not affected by this Service Bulletin.
3. APPROVAL
FAA approval has been obtained on all technical data in this Service Bulletin that affects type design.
4. PURPOSE
In warm weather conditions, affected aircraft climbing to altitude at full power with the fuel boost pump
engaged, could experience a drop in fuel flow if the fuel boost pump is disengaged shortly after leveling off.
This condition could cause engine power interruption.
5. DESCRIPTION
This Service Bulletin contains instructions for the accomplishment of an improved gascolator installation.
6. WARRANTY INFORMATION
For aircraft under warranty at the issue date of this Service Bulletin, Cirrus Design will cover all parts and
labor costs for this Service Bulletin if the work is accomplished within the Compliance time period and the
work is performed at an authorized Cirrus Design Service Center.
7. MANPOWER REQUIREMENTS
2.0 man-hours.
