Special Procedures for Adding Gas to Oak Logs and Lumber
Using T312 or Equivalent
After taking the 24 hour concentration reading, if necessary, add gas
to bring the concentration level up to 240 ounces. Subtract the 24
hour concentration reading from 240 to determine how many ounces
the concentration is below 240 ounces. Use the following formula in
calculating how much gas to add:
1.6 × number of oz. below 240 × volume in ft3/1,000 ft3 = oz. of gas to
add or
