Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake temperature sensor on wheel No. 1.

Hold the monitor selector in the SENSOR TEST position.
(a)
Make sure that all lights on the monitor come on, but not the one for sensor No. 1.
(b)
Make sure that the brake temperature display on EICAS shows a 7 or more in each box, but not for brake No. 1. The box for that brake should show a 0.

Release the selector.
(5)
Connect the electrical connector to the sensor on wheel No. 1.
(6)
Repeat the test for each of the wheels, No. 2 thru No. 8.

After you do the test for all the sensors and connect the electrical connectors, do these steps:
(a)
Put the monitor selector in the SENSOR TEST position. 1) Make sure that all nine lights on the monitor come on.
(b)
Release the selector. 1) Make sure that all nine lights go out.

Find the brake temperature monitor unit on the E6 rack of the aft equipment center.
