Install the valve on the mounting bracket with the three bolts.

Make sure the maximum resistance between the valve body and the attach bracket is 0.0025 ohm.

Do a test of the parking brake valve operation.
(a)
Fully push and release the brake pedals a minimum of four times.
(b)
After 5 to 10 minutes, make sure there are no leaks.

CAUTION: DO NOT TWIST THE HANDLE OF THE PARKING BRAKE WHEN YOU SET THE
_______ BRAKE. IF THE HANDLE IS TWISTED, IT CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HANDLE LINKAGE.

To set the parking brakes, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Push the two brake pedals down fully.
(b)
Pull the handle for the parking brake.
(c)
Release the two brake pedals.
(d)
Make sure the PARK BRAKE indicator light on the quadrant control stand panel, P10, is on.

(14) Look at the parking brake valve to make sure the valve lever is in the closed position (position 2).

CAUTION:_______DO NOT MOVE THE HANDLE FOR THE PARKING BRAKE. IF YOU TWIST THE HANDLE, YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE HANDLE LINKAGE.
(15) Push the two brake pedals fully down then release them to release the parking brake.
