E.
Procedure
(1) S 034-007Remove the bolts and the lock plate from the lower end of the lower plate (View C-C).
(2) S 034-008Remove the steering nut from the top shock strut with the wrench adapter to release the lower plate.
(3) S 034-009Use the spanner wrench to remove the retainer nut for the swivel valve at the top trunnion (View D-D).
(4) S 034-010Use the steering actuator wrench to remove the nuts on the lower actuator trunnion. The nuts attach the left and right actuators to the lower plate (View B-B).
(5) S 034-011Move the lower plate from the top plate (View B-B).
(6) S 034-012Loosen the top trunnion nut on the actuator that you will remove.
(7) S 984-013Turn the upper torsion link to turn the steering collar to get the clearance to remove the end bolt of the actuator rod.
(8) S 034-014Disconnect the actuator rod from the collar (View A-A).
