5. Autobrake Module Solenoid Valve Removal (Fig. 401)

A. Procedure

(1) Do the Prepare for Removal Procedure (Par 2).

CAUTION: KEEP THE VALVE VERTICAL TO THE MODULE WHEN YOU REMOVE THE
_______ VALVE FROM THE MODULE. THIS IS NECESSARY TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE CONNECTOR PINS.

Remove the four attachment screws and lift the valve off of the module.

(3)
Remove the O-ring from the connector on the bottom of the valve and discard the O-ring. Put caps on the connector and the receptacle.

CAUTION: DO NOT LET CONTAMINANTION GET IN THE PORTS OF THE MODULE WHEN
_______ YOU REMOVE THE VALVE AND THE GASKET PLATE. IF CONTAMINATION GETS IN THE MODULE, DAMAGE TO THE SYSTEM CAN OCCUR.
(4) Remove the gasket plate from the module and discard it.

(1)
Lubricate a new O-ring with hydraulic fluid and install it on the connector at the bottom of the solenoid valve.

Put a new gasket plate on the installation surface for the solenoid valve on the module.

Put the solenoid valve on the gasket plate on the module.

(4)
Install the screw, the washer, and the bonding jumper (four locations). Tighten the screws to 55-60 pound-inches.

Install lockwire.

Apply sealant to the heads of the screws.

(7)
Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers on the P11 panel:

11S14, AUTOBK ANTISKID TEST IND 1
(b)
11S21, AUTOBK ANTISKID TEST IND 2

Do the test of the autobrake module that is part of the autobrake module installation.

Do the task to Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition if it is not necessary to do more maintenance.

7. Autobrake Module Servo Valve - Removal (Fig. 401)

Disconnect the electrical connector from the valve. Put caps on the electrical connector and the electrical receptacle.

CAUTION: DO NOT LET CONTAMINATION GET IN THE PORTS OF THE MODULE WHEN
_______ YOU REMOVE THE VALVE AND THE GASKET PLATE. IF CONTAMINANTION GETS IN THE MODULE, DAMAGE TO THE SYSTEM CAN OCCUR.

Remove the attachment screws and lift the valve off the module.
(4)
Remove the gasket plate from the module and discard it.
