Activate a fire alarm pull box.

Assist injured persons to safe areas.

When possible, extinguish or contain the fire if it develops in their tenant area.

Assist patrons and other employees to the shuttle lobby or other buildings.

6.  
Search tenant areas to ensure all persons have been evacuated.

7.  
Assist others as necessary outside the building to maintain order and prevent persons from re-entering the building.

8.  
Assist in the control of the public on the Airside F ramp areas.

9.  
When directed by the TFR, HCAA Operations, or airline management, aircraft will be pushed back from the building.


It is important that employees assist the public as much as possible during an evacuation.  Employee assistance will expedite the evacuation, reduce the possibility of panic and injury, and assures the public uses the closest evacuation route.
GENERAL PROCEDURES:
A.  Primary Evacuation exits from the second level are the fire exit doors and the shuttle walking bridge to the Landside Terminal.
B.  On the first floor of the Airside F building it will be the tenants responsibility to evacuate employees/passengers from these areas.  Area not so

designated as tenant area include hallways, F.I.S., and the International baggage claim, are to evacuate using the joint efforts of Police, Fire Rescue, U. S. Customs and Border Protection, and U. S. Agriculture personnel.
C.  Evacuation of Airside F will be a joint effort among tenants, Airport Operations, Police, and Fire Rescue  personnel. Safety personnel are to check all portions of Airside F accessible to the public to ensure that areas are clear.

ANNEX R - EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLAN - LONG TERM PARKING
PURPOSE: To establish evacuation procedures for the Long Term Parking Garage using Police, Fire, and building tenant personnel, thus minimizing the possibility of panic or personal injury.
A description of the Long Term Parking fire alarm system is outlined in Annex L of this manual.
EVACUATION PROCEDURES:    In the event conditions dictate the evacuation of Long Term Parking is necessary, the following actions will be taken:
 A.  Communication Center
1.  
In addition to notification procedures in Section 2-420, Fire and Explosions- Structural, the Center will notify the following departments and companies and advise organizations of evacuation instructions:

Avis Budget Dollar Hertz National  Director of Parking and Ground Transportation Ground Transportation Manager Monorail Maintenance Facility AMPCO Parking Triangle Services

2.  
Will make the following announcement to all monorail lobbies and landside building in both English and Spanish using the public address system.


"Your attention please.  This is an emergency message.  Please evacuate this building immediately through the nearest exit and do not attempt to re-enter until instructed to do so by the Aviation Authority."
   The announcements will be repeated at one minute intervals until such time the Long Term Parking Garage has been evacuated to the satisfaction of the Incident Commander.
