2-420.161 Fire Alarm
When a fire alarm device is activated in the RAC area, the Communication Center will notify the Police Department who will dispatch a police officer to the affected area.
2-420.162 Hydro Carbon Gas Detectors
Upon the activation of a hydrocarbon gas detector, the RAC tenant shall immediately take action to neutralize the fume hazard and protect the safety of persons and property.
2-420.17 AIRFIELD MAINTENANCE
Employees at the Airfield Maintenance Facility will investigate the alarm source at their facility, in addition to the Airport Police. Information on the conditions found will be given to the Communication Center.
2-420.2 ACTUAL RESPONSE TO A CONFIRMED FIRE OR HAZARDOUS CONDITION
NOTE: This section is supplemented by Annexes M, N, 0, P, Q, and R (Building Evacuation Plans). Tenants should formulate the evacuation plan for their facility.

POLICE OFFICE
When information is received of an actual fire, the Police Office shall:
Immediately notify:
-Tampa Fire Rescue
-Communication Center
Dispatch all available officers to the scene to help contain the fire, extinguish if possible, and protect the public.
Establish an Incident Commander on the scene. Upon the arrival of TFR, the police will relinquish control of the scene to them.
Maintain liaison with the TFR Incident Commander, coordinating the response and protection of the public.
Maintain communications and receive direction from the HCAA Remote Command Post.
Effect the evacuation of the area upon the order of the Incident Commander or the Authority Mobile Command Post.
Complete a report on the incident.
COMMUNICATION CENTER
When informed of an actual fire emergency, the Communications Center shall notify the following giving all known information:

The Communication Center will take further action as directed by the ADO.
TAMPA FIRE RESCUE
When notified that a fire emergency exists: The TFR Dispatcher shall:
-Alert and dispatch necessary emergency equipment and personnel to the scene of the reported fire.
- If warranted, notify the TPD, the Sheriff, the Highway Patrol, and the Hillsborough County Emergency Dispatch Operation of the fire emergency and location.
- Request other emergency equipment, if required.
- Contact local hospitals, and other medical services and advise them of requirements for their facilities, if any.
