Determine from the ADO the proper positioning of the shuttle cars.

When the notice of re-entry is received from the ADO or the Incident Commander, notify tenants that re-entry is now permitted.
B. Airport Police
1.
Immediately dispatch police officers to direct and assist an orderly evacuation along with fire rescue personnel.
2.
Assist those closest to the fire or point of detonation.
3.
Check all areas of Airside E accessible to the public to ensure the areas are clear.
4.
Upon evacuation of the building, assign officers to assist in the control of the public at the main terminal and at the Airside E truck court.
C. Tenants
During business hours, all tenants of Airside E should have at least one person designated as safety officer. The safety officer(s) will have responsibility for their tenant area during a building evacuation. Within personal safety limits, the responsibilities of the safety officer(s) includes management and control of fellow employees to carry out the following:
1. Immediately notify Airport Police via emergency telephone number
(911) or (870-8760), if a fire or other emergency occurs in their tenant area.

Activate a fire alarm pull box.
3.
Assist injured persons to safe areas.
4.
When possible, extinguish or contain the fire if it develops in their tenant area.
5.
Assist patrons and other employees to the shuttle lobby.
6.
Search tenant areas to ensure all persons have been evacuated.
7.
Assist others as necessary outside the building to maintain order and prevent persons from re-entering the building.
8.
Assist in the control of the public on the Airside E ramp areas.
9.
When directed by the TFR, HCAA Operations, or airline management, aircraft will be pushed back from the building.
It is important that employees assist the public as much as possible during an evacuation. Employee assistance will expedite the evacuation, reduce the possibility of panic and injury, and assures the public uses the closest evacuation route.
GENERAL PROCEDURES:
A. Primary Evacuation exits from the third level are the fire exit doors and the shuttle walking bridge to the Landside Terminal.
B. On the first and second floor of the Airside E building it will be the tenants responsibility to evacuate employees/passengers from these areas.
C. Evacuation of Airside E will be a joint effort among tenants, Airport Operations, Police, and Fire Rescue personnel. Safety personnel are to check all portions of Airside E accessible to the public to ensure that areas are clear.
D. Airport tenants can obtain information concerning emergency procedures by contacting the Airport Communications Center at telephone number 870-8770.
