2-450 MOVEMENT AREA LIGHTING POWER FAILURE
An emergency power generator is installed at Tampa International  Airport which acts as a backup power source for all airfield electrical lighting circuits in the event of a power failure. 
The following sequence of events takes place during a power failure: 
An audible alarm is received in the Communication Center advising a
power outage has occurred on the airfield. 
The Emergency Airfield Generator is automatically activated.
The Emergency Airfield Generator may be activated by the Control Tower

whenever Category II conditions exist. 
The same procedures and events occur when the Emergency Airfield

Power Generator is activated by the Tower as when it is activated by a
power failure.
An indicator light illuminates in the Communications Center and the

Control Tower, indicating the Emergency Airfield Generator has been

activated. 
When the normal power source is restored, the Emergency Airfield
Generator is deactivated. 

   2-450.1 RESPONSE    2-450.11  COMMUNICATIONS CENTER When the audible alarm is received in the Communications
Center, the operator shall: 
2-450.111 Notify the Assistant Director of Operations.
2-450.112 Notify the Control Tower.
2-450.113 Notify Authority Maintenance.

1-500 EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
The Airport Emergency Plan for Tampa International Airport is designed to comply with Federal Aviation Regulation, Part 139.325. 
The plan provides to the extent practicable for the transportation and medical assistance for the maximum number of persons of the aircraft presently serving and reasonably expected to serve the Airport.
