(b) Remove the bolts, washers, bushings, and nuts which attach the support flange for the lower starter air duct to two support rods aft of the start valve.
(c) (d) (e) Remove the bolts, nuts, bushing for top support flange, and washers which attach the duct support flanges to two support brackets on the flange P.Remove the lower starter air duct from the engine.Remove the seals from the external flanges of the starter air ducts.

(4) Remove the lower cooling air tubes for the LPT case (AMM 75-24-09/401).

(5) Disconnect the upper cooling air tubes for the LPT case from the collector for the LPT case cooling with the steps that follow: (a) Remove the bolts which attach the upper and lower cooling air tubes to the collector.
(b) Remove the bolts, nuts, and clamps which attach the bridge brackets for the LPT tube to the flange P brackets at three locations.
(c) (d) Remove the bolts and nuts which attach the bridge brackets to the brackets on the flange N.Move the upper cooling air tube up and away from the collector to disconnect them from the collector.
