Turn the lower support link into the engine.

Remove the bolts (6) and nuts (5) which attach the lower flange of the shutoff valve (7) to the lower support bracket.

Remove the bolts (8 and 10) which attach the top flange of the shutoff valve (7) and the upper support link to the upper support bracket.

Remove the bolt (1) and nut (2) which attach the rod end of the adjuster assembly (4) to the lever arm.

Remove the bushing (3).

(8) Move the shutoff valve (7) rearward and out from between the top and bottom support brackets.

(1) Put the shutoff valve (7) into the position between the top and
bottom support brackets.
(a)
Make sure the flow arrows point down.
(b)
Make sure to align the bolt holes.

(2)
Lubricate the threads of the bolts (8 and 10) with engine oil.
S 434-010-N00
(3)
Attach the top flange of the shutoff valve (7) and the support link
to the upper support bracket with bolts (8 and 10).
(a)
Install the longer bolt (10) at the support link locations.
(b)
Tighten the bolts (8 and 10) to 85-95 pound-inches (9.6-10.7 newton-meters).

Lubricate the threads of the bolts (6 and 9) with engine oil.
