Attach the lower flange of the shutoff valve (7) and the support
 link to the lower support bracket with the bolts (6 and 9) and nuts
 (5).


 (a)  
Install the longer bolts at the support link locations.

 (b)  
Tighten the bolts (6 and 9) to 85-95 pound-inches (9.6-10.7 newton-meters).

 

 (6)  
Adjust the turbine cooling system (AMM 75-24-00/501).

TURBINE CASE COOLING AIR VALVE ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure gives the instructions for the removal and the installation of the Turbine Case Cooling (TCC) air valve actuator. The TCC air valve actuator will be referred to as the actuator for this procedure.
 B.  The actuator is found on the high pressure compressor (HPC) forward case at the 2 o'clock position.
 C.  You can get access to the actuator through the right thrust reverser half.

 2.  Remove the Turbine Case Cooling Air Valve Actuator (Fig. 401)

Container - 1 U.S. gallon (4 liter) capacity for collecting fuel

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Make sure the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch is in the CUTOFF position.

 (3) Push the STAT button on the select panel of the EICAS panel.
 (a)  Make sure the status page shows on the auxiliary EICAS.
