CAUTION:_______ PUT THE VALVE AS CLOSE TO THE INNER WALL OF THE LEFT
 THRUST REVERSER AS POSSIBLE.  THERE MUST BE SUFFICIENT
 CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE VALVE AND THE GENERATOR FEEDER
 CABLES.  IF THE VALVE TOUCHES THE GENERATOR FEEDER CABLES,

 THE CABLES CAN BE DAMAGED AND THE GENERATOR CAN TRIP OFF.
 (c)  Put the shutoff valve (1) as shown in View A. 1) Adjust the shutoff valve position.
 NOTE: Make sure the bottom of the shutoff valve is close
____ to the inner wall of the left thrust reverser.
 2) Install the clamps (2) so the T-bolt points out and down. 3) Turn the clamp on the flange.
 NOTE: Make sure the head of the T-bolt is less than
____
 0.5 inch (12.7 mm) from the inner wall surface of the thrust reverser half.
 4) Tighten clamp nuts.
 (d)  
Connect the pneumatic tube (6) to the shutoff valve (1). 1) Tighten the tube nut.

 (e)  
Connect the electrical connector DV353 (7) to the shutoff valve receptacle.

 (f)  
Connect the bonding jumper (5) to the shutoff valve (1) with the screw (4) and the nut (3) (AMM 20-11-15/401). 1) Tighten the nut.

 (g)  
Make sure the bonding resistance between the valve housing (1) and the screw (4) is not more than 0.001 ohm (AMM 20-22-01/601).

 (3)  Close the left thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).

NACELLE ZONE VENTILATION DUCT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General

 A.  This procedure includes the tasks for the removal and installation of the ventilation duct for the nacelle zone.
 B.  The ventilation duct is attached to the inner wall of the left thrust reverser.
 C.  You must open the left thrust reverser to get access to the ventilation duct.
