(e)  For the right TVBCA valve (5), do these steps to remove the
 parts that attach to the bracket (24) installed to the flange.
 1) Remove the bolt (29) and nut (26) that attach the
 adjustable link rod end (27) to the bracket (24).
 2) Remove the bolt (40), nut (42), and washer (41) that attach
 the strut drain clamp (39) to the bracket (24).
 3) ENGINES WITHOUT PHASE 3 CHANGES;
 Remove the bolt (30) and nut (25) that attach the tube
 clamps (31) to the bracket (24).
 4) ENGINES WITH PHASE 3 CHANGES;
 Remove the bolt (30) and nut (25) that attach the tube
 clamp (31) to the bracket (24).
 (f)  For the left TVBCA valve (5), remove the bolts (11), nuts (14),
 and washers (13) which attach the support bracket (12) to the
 bracket (10).
 (g)  For the left TVBCA valve (5), remove the bolt (18) and nut (15)
 which attach the tube clamp (17) to the bracket (19) attached
 to the flange.
 (h)  Remove the left TVBCA valve (5) from the engine with the steps
 that follow:
 1) Remove the bolts (16) which attach the TVBCA valve (5) and
 the brackets (10 and 19) to the valve boss on the HPC case.
 NOTE: You can use the standard torque adapter for an____
 easier removal.
 2) Remove the left TVBCA valve (5) and the brackets from the
 engine.
 a) Discard the gasket (6).
 (i)  Remove the right TVBCA valve (5) from the engine with the steps
 that follow:
 1) Remove the bolts (23 and 28) which attach the TVBCA valve
 (5) and the bracket (24) to the valve boss on the HPC case.
 NOTE: You can use the standard torque adapter for an____
 easier removal.
 2) Remove the right TVBCA valve (5) from the engine.
 a) Discard the gasket (6).

(j)  Install the protection covers on the cooling air ducts (3 and 8), air signal tube, valve boss on the HPC case, and the openings on the TVBCA valve (5).

 (5)  If it is necessary to replace the TVBCA valve (5), do the steps that follow:
 (a)  
Remove the adapter (21) for the air signal tube and gasket (20) from the port on the TVBCA valve (5). 1) Discard the gasket (20).

 (b)  
Install a protection cap on the opening in the TVBCA valve (5).
