Open the right core cowl panel (AMM 71-11-06/201).

Remove the cover (6) from the terminal box (13).
(a)
Remove the screws (5 and 7) from the cover (6) of the terminal box (13).
(b)
Remove the terminal box cover (6) from the engine.

(4) Disconnect the harnesses (2, 10, and 11).
(a) Remove the nuts (3 and 4) that attach the EEC harness (2) terminals to the terminal box (13) studs.
NOTE: Make sure you identify the harness terminals with a tag
____ for the correct installation. The stud diameter of the alumel terminals is larger than the stud diameter of the chromel terminals.
(b) Remove the nuts (3 and 4) that attach the right harness (10) terminals to the terminal box (13) studs.
NOTE: Make sure you identify the harness terminals with a tag
____ for the correct installation. The stud diameter of the alumel terminals is larger than the stud diameter of the chromel terminals.
(c) Remove the nuts (3 and 4) that attach the left harness (11) terminals to the terminal box (13) studs.

Disconnect the harness terminals from the terminal box studs.
(e)
Install the nuts (3 and 4) on the terminal box (13) studs by hand.

Remove the screws (8) that attach the inner and outer clamp halves (12 and 9) to the terminal box (13).

Remove each clamp half.

Remove the nuts (1) that attach the terminal box (13) to the flange bracket.

Remove the terminal box (13) from the engine.
