EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE (TT4.95) THERMOCOUPLE PROBE -

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure includes two tasks. One task is for the removal of the exhaust gas temperature (EGT) (TT4.95) thermocouple probe (EGT probe). The other task is for the installation of the EGT probe.
 B.  There are four EGT probes installed on the turbine exhaust case.
 C.  The EGT probes are installed at the 1, 4, 7, and 10 o'clock positions (one probe is at each position).
 D.  The EGT probes at the 1 and 7 o'clock positions are installed in an EGT probe housing.
 E.  The EGT probes at the 4 and 10 o'clock positions are installed in a combined EGT and EPR housing.
 F.  You must open the applicable core cowl panel to get access to the EGT probes.
