(2) S 017-003-N00Open the core cowl panels (AMM 71-11-06/201).
(3) S 037-004-N00Remove the four bolts that attach the inner front bracket and the inner rear bracket to the outer support bracket (at approximately the 6 o'clock position on turbine exhaust case). (a) Remove the inner brackets from the engine.
(4) S 037-005-N00Remove the four bolts that attach the front and the rear of the outer support bracket to the brackets on flanges P and T. (a) Remove the outer support bracket from the engine.
(5) S 037-006-N00Remove the screws that attach the cover and the harness ground to the EGT terminal box. (a) Remove the cover from the engine.
(6) S 117-015-N00Clean the cable: (a) Put solvent (lightly) on a cloth. (b) Clean the external cable surfaces with the cloth.
CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE THAT YOU REMOVE ALL UNWANTED MATERIAL. SOLVENT OR CARBON MATERIAL ON THE EGT HARNESS OR PROBE CAN CAUSE INCORRECT INDICATIONS.
(c) Remove the unwanted material with compressed air at 30 psi (200 kPa) maximum.
(7) S 437-009-N00Install the outer support bracket. (a) Put engine oil on the threads of the bolts. (b) Install the bolts that attach the outer support bracket to the brackets on flange P and T. (c) Tighten the bolts to 36-40 pound-inches (4.1-4.5 newton-meters).

(8) Install the inner front bracket and the inner rear brackets.
(a)
Put engine oil on the threads of the bolts.
(b)
Install the bolts that attach the inner front bracket and the inner rear brackets to the outer support bracket.
(c)
Tighten the bolts to 36-40 pound-inches
(4.1-4.5 newton-meters).

(9) Install the terminal box cover and the EEC harness ground lead.
(a)
Put engine oil on the threads of the bolts.
(b)
Install the bolts that attach the cover and the harness ground lead to the terminal box.
