Remove the center manifold.

Install the caps on the manifold tube ends.

(12) To remove the right manifold, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Turn the manifold counterclockwise (as viewed from rear) until the manifold is clear of the support bracket.
(b)
Remove the manifold.
(c)
If you will replace the right manifold, remove the plug and the washer from the manifold.
NOTE: The plug and the washer will be installed on the new

manifold.

(1) If you will install a new manifold, install the clamps on the
manifold.

CAUTION: DO NOT USE LUBRICANTS ON THE EEC TUBES, ADAPTERS, OR O-RINGS.

LUBRICANTS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE EEC.
(2) To install the right manifold, do the steps that follow:
(a)
If you will install a new manifold, do the steps that follow: 1) Remove the cap from the manifold. 2) Install the plug and the washer to the manifold. 3) Tighten the plug to 40-50 pound-inches
(4.5-5.6 newton-meters). 4) Install lockwire or the optional safety cable and ferrule to the plug.
(b)
Put the right manifold tube end between the support bracket (View G) and the turbine exhaust case.
(c)
Turn the manifold clockwise (as viewed from rear) until the manifold tube nut is adjacent to the adapter (installed at the 4 o'clock position - View D) on the EPR probe.
(d)
Connect the manifold tube nut to the adapter.
(e)
Tighten the manifold tube nut with your hand.

(3) To install the center manifold, do the steps that follow:
(a) Put the manifold tube end between the support bracket and the turbine exhaust case (View A-A).

(b)
Turn the manifold counterclockwise until the manifold tube nuts are in the correct position.
(c)
Connect the tube nut to the right EPR manifold.
(d)
Connect the EEC tube nut to the manifold tee (at the 6 o'clock position).
(e)
Tighten the tube nuts with your hand.
