D.  Do these Steps to Prepare for the Procedure

 (1)  AIRPLANES WITHOUT THE ENGINE INSTRUMENT SYSTEMS (EIS); Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center
 1) For engine No. 1:
 a) ENG 1 N2 TACH INDICATION

 2)  For engine No. 2: a) ENG 2 N2 TACH INDICATION

 (2)  AIRPLANES WITH EIS; Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center
 1) For engine No. 1:
 a) EIS PRIMARY 2 (E1)

 2)  For engine No. 2:
 a) EIS PRIMARY 4 (E2)

 (3) Close these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-OPEN tags:
 (a)  P6 Load Control Center
 1)  For engine No. 1:
 a) ENG 1 R IGN
 b) ENG 1 L IGN
 c) ENG 1 START VALVE

 2)  For engine No. 2:
 a) ENG 2 R IGN
 b) ENG 2 L IGN
 c) ENG 2 START VALVE
 d) INDICATOR SECT 2

 (4) Open the right and left fan cowl panel (AMM 71-11-02/201).

 WARNING: OBEY THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PROCEDURE TO OPEN THE THRUST

 (5) Open the right and left thrust reverser (AMM 78-31-00/201).
