Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors (2).

(4)
Make sure that the electrical connectors (2) are clean and in the correct condition.

(5)
Install the FDIU (1) on its rack (3).

(6)
Push the FDIU (1) on its rack (3) to connect the electrical connectors (2).

(7)
Engage the nut (4) on the lug (5) and tighten. Subtask 31-33-34-865-052

Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 8TU

A. Removal of the Disk

On the QAR, make sure that:

-
the POWER FAIL indication is not shown in the display (4).

-
the FAULT WARNING light (1) is off.

(2)
Open the door (3) of the QAR.

(3)
Push the EJECT key (2).
The EJECTING indication comes into view.

(4)
When the disk (5) is ejected, remove it from the disk drive.

(5)
Close the door (3) of the QAR.
