1. On the control panel 21VU:
-Push the GND/CTL pushbutton.
2. On the MCDU:

Push the MCDU MENU mode key.

Push the line key adjacent to <CFDS indication.

Push the line key adjacent to <SYSTEM REPORT/TEST indication.
-
Push the line key adjacent to INST> indication.
-
Push the line key adjacent to <FDIU indication.
-
Push the line key adjacent to LRU IDENTIFICATION indication.
-Make sure that the FDIU P/N and the A/C registration tail-number is correct.
On the control panel 21VU:
-
The blue indicator light 'ON' comes on.
On the MCDU display:
-
The MCDU MENU page comes into view.
-
The CFDS page comes into view.
-
The SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comesinto view.

The INST page comes into view.
-
The FDIU page comes into view.
-
The FDIU LRU IDENTIFICATION pagecomes into view.

The FDIU P/N and the A/C registrationtail-number shows.
