A. FDIMU-FDIU Software Load Procedure

On the overhead panel, on the Data Loading Selector:
-Put the data loading selector ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
-
Push the NEXT or PREV key until the FDR SYS NOT SELECTED indication shows on the display.
-
Push the SEL CTL key.
On the Center Pedestal, on the MDDU:
-Open the floppy disk access door.
-Put the software disk 10TV1 (FDIU-Software) into the MDDU.
On the Data Loading Selector display:
-
The DB/N:XXXXXXXX and PUSH NEXT/PREVindications show.
-
The FDR SYS NOT SELECTED indicationshows.
-
The FDR SYS SELECTED indication shows.
On the MDDU display:
-
The MDDU READY indication shows.
-These indications show in a shorttime: READY, WAIT RESPONSE, TRANSF IN PROG.
NOTE : Dependently from the MDDU P/N it can show the BUS-number and the
____ file-sizes between the messages TRANSF IN PROG and TRANSF COMPLETE. The file-sizes decrease to zero during the data loading. This shows the
progress of the data loading.
-Wait until the TRANSF COMPLETE indication comes on.
-Push the EJECT button and remove the software disk 10TV1.
-Close the floppy disk access door.
-
The TRANSF COMPLETE indication showsafter the load procedure is completed correctly.

The MDDU READY indication shows.
