A. Removal of the Flight Data Interface Unit (FDIU)
(1)
Loosen the nut (4).
(2)
Lower the nut (4).
(3)
Pull the FDIU (1) on its rack (3) to disconnect the electrical connectors (2).
(4)
Remove the FDIU (1) from its rack (3).
(5)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
