R A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
R (1) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits R (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
R (2) On the overhead panel, make sure that: R R - The ON legend of the APU/MASTER SW, ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1 and R ENG/FADEC GND PWR/2 pushbutton switches is on. R R - The OFF or FAULT legend of the ELEC/BAT 1, ELEC/BAT 2, ADR 1, ADR 2 R and ADR 3 pushbutton switches is not on. R

- The OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches related to the IR 1, IR 2 and IR 3 are at NAV.
(3) You can read the AVIONICS STATUS on the MCDU to get the list of unit(s) that have a class 3 fault (Ref. TASK 31-32-00-740-009).

A. Do this procedure:

Adjust the brightness of the MCDU 1(2) screen.
2.
push the MCDU MENU mode key.
3.
push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication.
4.
push the line key adjacent to the AVIONICS STATUS indication.
5.
push the line key adjacent to the PRINT indication. the (CLASS 3) indication which follows the name of a system has a CLASS 3 fault.
6.
push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication.
7.
push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST indication.
8.
set the system with a CLASS 3 fault:
-push the line key adjacent to the name of the system (for some systems, use a secondaryOn the MCDU 1(2):
-
the MCDU MENU page comes into view.
-
the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
-
the AVIONICS STATUS page comes intoview. Make sure that the NO DATA FROM indication is not shown.
-
the printer prints the related page.
-
the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
-
the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comesinto view.
-
the page of the system set comes intoview.

Push the line key adjacent to the CLASS 3 FAULTS, or SCHEDULED MAINT REPORT indication. If the two indications are shown, push the line key adjacent to the SCHEDULED MAINT REPORT indication first, then push the line key adjacent to the CLASS 3 FAULTS indication.
10.
Only read faults:
-with no date (type 2 systems).
- or with the date of the LAST LEG REPORT (type 1 systems). For the other dates, ignore the faults because they stopped or are corrected.
NOTE : For a flight which
____ includes 2 dates, you can find the CLASS 3 faults with a date different to the date of the LAST LEG REPORT (the LAST LEG REPORT always has the date of the departure).
11.
Push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comes into view.
12.
Do the steps 8. to 11. for all the systems with the (CLASS 3) indication on the AVIONICS STATUS page.
-the page with the list of the CLASS 3faults related to the system comesinto view (the operator can then makethe decision to correct these faultsor not).
