A. Do this procedure:

Adjust the brightness of the MCDU 1(2) screen.
2.
push the MCDU MENU mode key.
3.
push the line key adjacent to the CFDS indication.
4.
push the line key adjacent to the AVIONICS STATUS indication.
5.
push the line key adjacent to the PRINT indication. the (CLASS 3) indication which follows the name of a system has a CLASS 3 fault.
6.
push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication.
7.
push the line key adjacent to the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST indication.
8.
set the system with a CLASS 3 fault:
-push the line key adjacent to the name of the system (for some systems, use a secondary menu and/or the NEXT PAGE function key).
ROn the MCDU 1(2):
-
the MCDU MENU page comes into view.
-
the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
-
the AVIONICS STATUS page comes intoview. Make sure that the NO DATA FROM indication is not shown.
-
the printer prints the related page.
-
the CFDS MENU page comes into view.
-
the SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comesinto view.
-
the page of the system set comes intoview.

R 9. Push the line key adjacent to the
R CLASS 3 FAULTS, or SCHEDULED
R MAINT REPORT indication.
R If the two indications are shown,
R push the line key adjacent to the
R SCHEDULED MAINT REPORT indication
R first, then push the line key
R adjacent to the CLASS 3 FAULTS
R indication.
10. Only read faults:
- with no date (type 2 systems).
- or with the date of the LAST
LEG REPORT (type 1 systems).
For the other dates, ignore
the faults because they
stopped or are corrected.
NOTE : For a flight which____
includes 2 dates, you can
find the CLASS 3 faults
with a date different to
the date of the LAST LEG
REPORT (the LAST LEG
REPORT always has the
date of the departure).
11. Push the line key adjacent to
the RETURN indication until the
SYSTEM REPORT/TEST page comes
into view.
12. Do the steps 8. to 11. for all
the systems with the (CLASS 3)
indication on the AVIONICS
STATUS page.
-the page with the list of the CLASS 3 faults related to the system comes into view (the operator can then make the decision to correct these faults or not).

A. Put the aircraft back to its initial configuration.
(1)
On the MCDU, push the line key adjacent to the RETURN indication until the CFDS menu page comes into view.
(2)
On the overhead panel:
-set the OFF/NAV/ATT selector switches related to the IR 1, IR 2 and IR 3 to OFF.
-Set the APU/MASTER SW, ELEC/BAT 1, ELEC/BAT 2, ADR 1, ADR 2, ADR 3, ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1 and ENG/FADEC GND PWR/2 pushbutton switches to OFF.

De-energize the aircraft electrical circuits
