(Internal) From Direction 2, including fastener locations, using visual inspection methods.
Access: Remove upper wing-to-body fairings 3375, 3475, 3577, 3677.
Zone(s): 222, 223.

Plus Chord Flange Radius
(Internal) From Direction 3, at specified locations, using HFEC (Ref. NDT Manual D6-37239, Part 6, 57-10-21). 1.0 elapsed hour and 1.0 manhour are required to accomplish this inspection.
Access: Remove upper wing-to-body fairings 3375, 3475, 3577, 3677 and forward fairing bracket.

I. INSPECTION OPTIONS - DTR CHECK FORM W-13A Rear spar lower chord to terminal fitting splice inboard and outboard of BBL 70.85.
(1) Spar Chord
(External) From Direction 1, using HFEC (Ref. NDT Manual D6-37239, Part 6, 57-10-28).
Access: Remove lower Wing-to-Body Fairings 7223 and 7423.
Zone(s): 216, 217.
II. INSPECTION OPTIONS - DTR CHECK FORM W-13B Rear spar lower chord fasteners common to splices inboard and outboard of BBL 70.85.
(1) Terminal Fitting
(Internal) From Direction 1, using HFEC (Ref. NDT Manual D6-37239, Part 6, 57-10-28).
Access: Defuel and purge tanks (S2211, S3051, S4051). Access center wing tank through left air conditioning equipment bay access door (3303) and through left center wing tank lower forward skin access panel and spanwise beam access holes. Access wing tanks by removing access doors 7202, 7402.
NOTE: May require the removal of sealant.
Zone(s): 221, 305, 405.
(2) Splice Fitting
(Internal) From Direction 2, using visual inspection methods.
