Structural Cracking
Information contained in this document does not sanction further airplane operations with known
structural cracking present. All cracks found must be repaired per a regulatory approved method prior to returning the airplane to active fleet status.
8.0.5 Prior Repairs
As noted in Section 5.1.18, in the area of structural significant items that involve prior repairs, the existing DTR Check Form and inspection options may not apply. These requests for assistance will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact Boeing in accordance with Section 6.0. Provide description of repair and whether a Boeing approved repair was installed or a locally engineered and approved repair. Include date of repair.
NOTE: Regulatory approved alternate means of compliance will be required.

8.1 WING SSI INFORMATION
This section contains the basic inspection and access information needed to complete the Wing DTR Check Forms in Section 11.1. A listing of the Wing SSI/DTR Check Forms by Model-Series applicability is shown below. The SSI Numbers are not continuously consecutive as some items were eliminated from the program or combined with other items after the number sequence was assigned. A structural inspection matrix, showing the inspection zone-area for each item, is shown on Pages 8.1.2 and 8.1.3.
