(1) Cut and remove the grommet.

(1) Clean the bulkhead area that will touch the grommet with solvent, Series 98-1 (AMM 20-30-98 or SOPM 20-30-98).

Apply BMS 5-126 adhesive to the area where the grommet will touch the structure.

Put the grommet in its position.

Flip the grommet with the tool from the Grommet Installation Set.
NOTE: The grommet can be loose in the bulkhead hole but must stay
____ in the bulkhead hole unless you cut the grommet to remove it.

Do these steps for the NAS1368 grommet (Fig. 401):
(a)
Flip the grommet with the tool from the Grommet Installation Set.
(b)
Split the NAS1368 grommet with a slant cut.
(c)
Apply BMS 5-126 adhesive to the area where the grommet will touch the structure.

Install the grommet into the bulkhead hole.
(e)
Align the slit part of the grommet at the 12 o'clock position.

(3) Do this step for the BACG20H grommet (Fig. 401):
(a)
Apply BMS 5-55 adhesive to the area where the grommet will touch the structure.
(b)
Install the grommet into the bulkhead hole.
(c)
Align the slit part of the grommet at the 12 o'clock position.
