3. Fault Confirmation

A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the LAND CAT III capability (Ref. AMM TASK 22-97-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the test gives the maintenance message AFS: CHECK FAC2 RT:
- do the Ground Scanning of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-91-00-710-001).
R (1) If the test gives a different message, do the trouble shooting R procedure related to the maintenance message. R
(2) If the test does not gives the maintenance message, or if the fault continues:
- do the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001)
and read the result for the FAC 2 and the FMGC 2. R
R (a) If the test gives a different message, do the trouble shooting R procedure related to the maintenance message.
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

Loss of the Yaw Damper Function on the FAC 1
1. Possible Causes
_______________
- FAC-1 (1CC1)
- SERVO ACTR-YAW DAMPER, 1 (3CC1)
- wiring R - solenoid valve 1 and/or 2 of the SERVO ACTR-YAW DAMPER, (3CC1) R
- pressure switch of the SERVO ACTR-YAW DAMPER, (3CC1)
- wiring of the YAW V1 COM and YAW V2 COM discretes (from the yaw damper
servo-actuator,1 (3CC1) to the FAC 1 (1CC1)) R - servovalve of the SERVO ACTR-YAW DAMPER, 2 (3CC1)

A. Job Set-Up
(1) Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(a) Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
