- do a check and repair the wiring of the ground signal from the ground point to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 22-68/03).

(1) Do the operational test of the rudder trim function (Ref. AMM TASK 22-62-00-710-001).
(2) Do the operational test of the AFS (Ref. AMM TASK 22-96-00-710-001) with the RUD TRIM/RESET pushbutton switch (8CC) pushed and read the result for the FAC 1.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the reset is inoperative after the operational test of the rudder trim function:
(1) If the operational test of the AFS gives the maintenance message AFS:FAC1/RT RESET SW 8CC:
- do the procedure (Ref. TASK 22-62-00-810-813).
(2) If the operational test of the AFS does not give the maintenance message AFS : FAC1/RT RESET SW 8CC:
- replace the P/BSW-RUD TRIM/RESET (8CC).
