INTRODUCTION
L-3 Communications is pleased to provide this copy of the 2001 Aviation Communications & Surveillance System’s
(ACSS) Price Catalog (Publication Number L01-0001-001). This catalog includes general information about our products
and services as well as a list of line replaceable units (LRUs) that are normally selected by operators during initial and
follow-on provisioning activities. This catalog is valid for orders placed anytime from January 1, 2001 through December
31, 2001 with scheduled deliveries prior to April 1, 2002.
The sale of the legacy Honeywell TCAS product line to L-3 Communications was completed on April 28, 2000. This marks
the beginning transition for L-3 Communications’ Aviation Communications and Surveillance Systems Division. L-3
Communications’ surveillance product line includes TCAS computer units, Mode S transponders, antennas, display units,
control panels and associated TCAS related hardware.
During this transition period, Honeywell will continue to provide migration and transition of product production and support
services to L-3 Communications until April 2002. The TCAS products will continue to be manufactured under FAA
approvals granted to Honeywell until such time as L-3 communications obtains their own FAA manufacturing approvals
and TSO certifications and relocate into their own facility.
L-3 Communications Marketing and Customer Support Team is comprised of professionals located around the world.
With a strong understanding of avionics and the aviation industry, the Marketing professionals, Customer Support
Engineers (CSE) and Application Engineers are your primary source of information regarding L-3 Communications’ new
and existing products and systems. They can assist in answering questions regarding the functions and features of the
complete L-3 Communications product line, as well as provide presentations and proposals for your desired avionics.
The CSE and Marketing professionals work as a dedicated team in supporting their specific region. Should you have
questions or concerns, your local L-3 Communications representatives will work to satisfy your needs.
AVAILABILITY
Many of the L-3 Communications products are considered stock items and are available for immediate shipment.
Situations do arise where material shortages cause lead-times to be placed on these items. Contact your Marketing
representative for the latest lead-time and availability information.

HOW TO ORDER
ORDERING L-3 COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT IS EASY. SIMPLY PROVIDE US:

Purchase Order Acceptance and Acknowledgment
Order acknowledgment will advise shipping dates, price correction, part number supercede, etc.
Order will be accepted to catalog lead-time or customer requested date, whichever is greater. In the event, customers
request delivery in less than catalog lead-time, L-3 Communications will accept such orders on a best effort basis.
In instances where quantities ordered prohibit total shipment within specified lead-times, orders will ordinarily be filled
partially from stock and the balance scheduled for earliest available delivery thereafter.
In the case of conflict between the terms and conditions of this Price Catalog and any purchase order issued to L-3
Communications, the terms and conditions of this Price Catalog and any amendment thereof shall prevail. Acceptance
and/or acknowledgment of purchase orders by L-3 Communications shall not be construed as a waiver to the order of
precedence herein.
