WARRANTY
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2001
FOR THE EQUIPMENT DESCRIBED HEREIN
L-3 Communications, (herein after referred to as the Seller) warrants that all articles furnished under this order will conform
to applicable specifications and drawings, and be free from defects, in material and workmanship. The Seller’s obligation
under this warranty, however, is limited to repairing of, or, at the Seller’s option, replacing any article or part that is returned,
transportation prepaid, to any of its service stations or factories by the Buyer or Buyer’s customer, subject to the provisions
of paragraph (2).
The warranty shall be applicable to those verified defects or failures [as described in paragraph (1)] that may become
apparent thirty-six (36) months after delivery of the products by the Seller to the Buyer, or within twelve (12) months after
final delivery of the product to the Buyer’s customer, whichever of the events first occurs. Notice of the alleged defect or
failure shall be given to the Seller by the Buyer, or Buyer’s customer, within thirty (30) days after such defect or failure
becomes apparent. This warranty will be in effect to the registered owner upon receipt by the Seller of a completed
Warranty Application (Form 11709-00).
Extended warranty services are available upon request from your marketing representative.
EXCEPT FOR A WARRANTY OF TITLE AND THE WARRANTY SET FORTH IN PARAGRAPHS (1) AND (2) ABOVE, NO
OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL APPLY TO THE ARTICLES
FURNISHED HEREUNDER; AND THE SELLER SHALL HAVE NO OTHER OBLIGATION OR LIABILITY, WHETHER
UNDER THIS ORDER OR OTHERWISE, ON ACCOUNT OF SUCH ARTICLES. In no event shall the Seller be liable for
loss of use or for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.

Foreword
This report is a technical document that reflects the point of view of the Civil
Aviation Accident and Incident Investigation Commission (CIAIAC) regarding
the circumstances in which happened the event being investigated, with its
causes and its consequences.
In accordance with the provisions of Law 21/2003 and Annex 13 to the Convention
on International Civil Aviation, the investigation has exclusively a
technical nature, without having been targeted at the declaration or assignment
