1. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
A. Packaging Materials
NOTE: Equivalent substitutes may be used for listed items.

B. Packaging
NOTE: The seat assemblies are essentially corrosion.resistant. Thus, special preservation materials are not required under ordinary storage conditions
(1)Wrap seats with Kraft Paper (Federal specification UU.P.27 or equivalent) Seal all edges include the seat legs with reinforced sealing tape.
(2)Identify packaged seat assemblies by writing the assembly partnumber, serial number and repair date.
(3)Store packaged seat assemblies in a cool, dry area away from any heat
source, direct sunlight at a temperature of 100 . 350C (500 . 950F)
1. TRANSPORTATION
A. General Instructions
(1)
It is recommended to use the original standard RECARO packing system for transport, as it is well designed to meet the airline requirements. Refer to ATA Specification 300 for more details, if anything specifically requested.
(2)
The container shall be constructed of cardboard, fibreboard or plywood, providing sufficient protection with a minimum of tare weight. Do not use straps and buckles as closing devices. Two
