C.  The seats can be returned to their take.off, taxi, and landing position (TTL) by pulling the buttons A, C. Pull the strap underneath the legrest, holding the push button (C). For the checking of reached final TTL.position, there are two buttons at seat endbay aisle side. For lateral seat units the upper button controls outboard seat.place, the lower button controls aisle seat.place. When one of these buttons shows a red band, then the respective seat.place is not set to the correct TTL position.
D  EPS Configuration
(Ref figure 1002)

At first into service the EPS Software for all seats is configurated as DBL seat. Therefore the TPL seats shall be reconfigurated with following instructions:
(1)  Enter the Service Menu by pressing [<] + [>] for more than 3sec (only within 15sec after ”888” on display at power on). EPS BITE displays code 101 if Maintenance Mode is successfully entered.

When in menu 101 service menu 102 can be selected with [<] or [>]. To enter seat configuration menu [M] will revert into seat selection 1, 2, 3, 1,...

Depress [<] or [>] to scroll through pax setting. Choose the requested pax number

(4)  
Depress [M] again longer than 2 seconds. EPS Bite displays code 102.

(5)  
Depress [M] again longer than 2 seconds. New pax number is stored. Expect display 100 for 1 second to indicate successful completion.

NOTE: EPS BITE display will resume normal display mode (pitch, 001, failures if present). Once the Maintenance Mode is entered and not completed within 2 minutes the pax value will not change.
