2. DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
WARNING: TO AVOID INJURY TO PERSONS WHILE SERVICING THE EQUIPMENT, MAKE SURE THAT YOU TURN OFF ALL ELECTRICAL POWER. ONLY APPROVED PERSONS MUST DO THE MAINTENANCE.
NOTE: All removed assemblies and subassemblies should be tagged or marked properly to facilitate later exact re.installation.
A. Removal of the seat modules (shell, ctr console)
Deinstallation Procedure of Standard Seats
(a)
Remove the two rear service covers at the bottom of the shell. Pay attention from the pins at the centre console side.
(b)
Remove the two service covers located at rear sides of the centre console. Unlock a quarter turn and move cover downwards.
(c)
Remove shell inner middle panel and the inner side panel at the armrest side. Release panel in the armrest area and pull it towards the centre console until velcro opens. Then move it downwards.
(d)
Remove centre panel from the backside of the shell.
(e)
Remove the two screws connecting shell and centre console from top.
(f)
Remove the four screws connecting lower and upper shell.
(g)
Unplug the two monitor cables at centre console backside and remove upper shell.
(h)
Move backrest forward and raise legrest (manual release).
(i)
Release seat height actuator (manual) and raise the seat until the over centered position is indicated.
(j)
Unhook the gas.spring at the top.
(k)
Move seat kinematic from the over centered position (pressed down at Central kinematic). Therefore release seat height actuator (manual release).
(l)
Pull seat forward (manual release).
(m)
Remove fabric at lower side of backrest from Shell.
(n)
Unplug the three plugs respectively: one plug from the centre console interface brackets.
(o)
Outboard seat only: pull plug EEPML.cable at rear cross beam.

(p)
Remove the four pins connecting lower shell and baseframe. Pay attention that the safety mechanism is ineffective.
(q)
Remove the two pins connecting centre console and base frame in the forward area.
(r)
Pull back the block consisting of centre console, LH and RH shell as far as possible that the shell still remains from the brackets.
