seat depth (seatplace extension)  actuator or seat.wire.harness and/or connections  check the electrical components actuator, seat.wire.harness and connections. Replace the damaged parts 
for alternate reset seat depth manually using the control button “F” (ref figure 1001) outer seat front 
IFE SYSTEM 
Video monitor  seat.wire.harness and/or connections  check the electrical components.Replace the damaged parts 
for alternate check the monitor and replace it if required

TROUBLE  PROBABLE CAUSE  CORRECTIVE ACTION 
Open or short circuit.  Damaged terminal, wire insulation, or incorrect wire routing.  Refer to REPAIR for general electrical repair instructions; refer to SCHEMATIC AND WIRING DIAGRAMS for Wiring Diagram. 
No power to electrical equipment.  Damaged electrical wiring.  Check all applicable circuits for point.to.point continuity; refer to REPAIR for general electrical repair instructions.

SHELL ASSEMBLY COMPONENT FUNCTIONAL TESTS 
Worktable does not keep in t d iti lstowed position securely.  Damaged plunger.  Replace plunger assembly. 
Bent or damaged striker.  Replace striker. 
Worktable does not pivot freely.  Damaged or obstruct hinge assembly  Replace hinge assembly. 
The sliding worktable assembly does not extend or retract completely.  Obstruction in the slide path.  Disassemble the sliding food tray assembly and remove the obstruction. 
Worktable assembly deploys more than specified.  The worktable requires adjustment.  Refer to ASSEMBLY to adjust the food tray.

4.  SEAT POSITIONING MOTOR FAILURE
A.  In the event of electrical or motor failure affecting the control of the backrest, legrest swivelling or seat height, open the respective outer armcap by using the release button (R) located underneath the armrest. The pull buttons are located in the armrest, for backrest extension (A), legrest swivelling (B) at the front; for seat.height (C) and intermediate position (D) at rear.
B.  Legrest extension can be manually reset in the event of electrical or motor failure by removing the legrest cushion partly. This reveals a push button (E) for this purpose on the top edge.
