Part B GEN 03 Amendment to reflect the applicability of SMS requirements under SES Regulations.
Part C COM 01 Notification of intention to consult regarding ICAO recommendation for recording of background communication and aural-environment.
Part C COM 02 Amendment to definition of Air Traffic Services in line with the change made to the Definition in the Preamble to this CAP. Corrected references to ITU documents. Clarification of minimum Acceptable Means of Compliance relating to provision of emergency frequency 121.500 MHz.
Part C COM 04 Removal of outdated text as SMS is now required under SES Regulations.
Part C COM 07 Replacement of reference to EMC with reference to R&TTED.
Part C ILS 02 Inclusion of current reference information.
Part C ILS 10 Inclusion of current reference information and removal of the associated Note stating that the reference might change.
Part C NAV 01 Inclusion of the Recommendation to reflect changes to ICAO Annex 3.
Part C RAD 02 Inclusion of a reference to ICAO SARPS for SSR Mode A/C, Mode S and Extended Squitter. The paragraph and note are a copy of the similar section on SARPs compliance in ILS 10 Para 4.
Part C RAD 05 Inclusion of a link to the CAA’s guidance document.
Part C RAD 09 Inclusion of a Recommendation in ICAO Annex 11 to indicate the CAA’s intention to mandate surveillance data recording, following formal consultation.
Part C MET 01 Inclusion of some material previously published in Annex A to ATC 01 ATC Support Systems and Facilities. Clarification of existing requirements previously published in other CAA documents. Paragraph regarding technical requirements for wind sensors deleted. Relevant information is available in CAP 746 Meteorological Observations at Aerodromes.
Part D Human Resources Section 2 This amendment incorporates changes that were consulted upon between February and April 2007, as modified by the consultation process. The significant changes are contained in the following paragraphs of Section 2: 1.1.2 Clarification of the applicability of SRATCOH to student and trainee controllers undertaking live OJT. 2.2.1.1 Providing amplification of the requirement relating to breaks in operational duty. 2.2.1.2 A new paragraph relating to the quality of breaks in operational duty. 2.3.2.1 Requirement relating to the break following a single night duty before the next period of duty. 2.3.2.2 Provision for reduction of the break before the next duty following a single night duty in exceptional circumstances.
