CAUTION: EXERCISE CARE IN MASKING AND SEALING OF PARTS TO ENSURE ALL AIR/OIL PORTS, STRUCTURAL OPENINGS, AND RELATED SURFACES OF PARTS ARE PROTECTED FROM OVERSPRAY.
(4)
Mask all areas not to be grit blasted.

NOTE:  Do not use metal abrasive alloys in surface conditioning for plasma spray deposition.

(5)
Grit blast area to be coated with plasma spray using aluminum oxide grit (120 Mesh) (SECTION VII) to obtain a minimum surface roughness of 63 microinches (1,6002 Micrometers).

(6)
Deposit plasma spray in accordance with manufacturer's specification onto the designated surfaces to the thickness specified or to sufficient thickness to permit finishing by machining and/or lapping to dimensions specified.

WARNING: USE CORRECT PERSONAL PROTECTION.  PROCEDURES THAT NEED GRIND/MACHINE WORK WILL CAUSE LOOSE PARTICLES THAT CAN GET IN YOUR EYES.
