 CAUTION: IF YOU USE HOT AIR (APPROXIMATELY 350°F [177°C]), DO NOT OPEN
_______ THE NACELLE ANTI-ICE VALVE FOR MORE THAN 30 SECONDS. AFTER YOU OPEN THE NACELLE ANTI-ICE VALVE, LET THE ANTI-ICE SYSTEM COOL FOR FIVE MINUTES. YOU CAN DAMAGE THE INLET COWL.
 (3)  Put the IGNITION AUTO switch in the 1 position.
 (a)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the RUN position.

 (b)  
Set the applicable NACELLE ANTI-ICE switch to the ON position.

 (c)  
Listen for the operation of ignitor plug 1 on the applicable engine.

 (d)  
Put the applicable NACELLE ANTI-ICE switch to the off position.

 (e)  
Make sure that the operation of ignitor plug 1 stops on the applicable engine.

 (f)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the CUTOFF position.

 (a)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the RUN position.

 (b)  
Put the applicable NACELLE ANTI-ICE switch to the ON position.

 (c)  
Listen for the operation of ignitor plug 2 on the applicable
 engine.


 (d)  
Put the applicable NACELLE ANTI-ICE switch to the off position.

 (e)  
Make sure that the operation of ignitor plug 2 stops on the
 applicable engine.


 (f)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the CUTOFF position.

 (5)  
Put the IGNITION AUTO switch in the BOTH position.

 (a)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the RUN position.

 (b)  
Put the applicable NACELLE ANTI-ICE switch to the ON position.

 (c)  
Listen for the operation of ignitor plugs 1 and 2 on the
 applicable engine.


 (d)  
Put the applicable NACELLE ANTI-ICE switch to the off position.

 (e)  
Make sure that the operation of ignitor plugs 1 and 2 stops on the applicable engine.

 (f)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the CUTOFF position.

 

 (6)  
Remove the pneumatic power (AMM 36-00-00/201).

Open the applicable engine circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag:

 1) 6J10 NACELLE ANTI-ICE 1
 2) 6J11 NACELLE ANTI-ICE 2
 3) 6J12 NACELLE ANTI-ICE 3
 4) 6J13 NACELLE ANTI-ICE 4

 (8)  Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the 6K25 IGN CONT circuit breaker on the P6 main power supply panel.

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT THE PEOPLE AND THE EQUIPMENT ARE NOT NEAR THE
_______ LEADING EDGE (LE) FLAPS, THE TRAILING EDGE (TE) FLAPS, OR THE FLAP MECHANISMS. WITH NO HYDRAULIC POWER, THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER CAN MOVE THE FLAPS. A MOVEMENT OF THE FLAPS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO THE PEOPLE OR DAMAGE TO THE EQUIPMENT.
 (9)  Put the IGNITION AUTO switch in the 1 position.
 (a)  
Put the applicable FUEL CONTROL switch in the RUN position.
